Check out the April 2009 issue of Car Craft to see the full feature on Paul and Phillip McKee's Oldsmobile rocking a set of Rushforth Super Spokes.
Magazine ink is one of those coveted, priceless car guy things everyone hopes for and I'm here to congratulate two car guys I know who recently got some! Father/son Paul and Phillip McKee have their bitchin' 65 Olds F85 featured in full color glory in the April issue of Car Craft.
Like so many of my friends, Phillip started out as a client when he and his Dad became early adopters of Rushforth Wheels taking a chance on a new brand putting them on his project that was coming together at a fast pace just in time for Hot Rod Power Tour '08.
Like most car project deadlines, it came up fast and everyone had to jump through some hoops (no pun intended) to get the car to the kickoff but they made it and represented Rushforth Wheels all week long on a very cool street machine. These guys live the dream by building a very unique ride and then took it out on the open road and enjoyed it!
Since then, I've had the pleasure of meeting Phillip in person at SEMA and he has purchased another set of wheels for an upcoming project as well as talking two of his buddies into buying sets of Rushforths for their rides!
A big thank you and sincere congratulations to Paul and Phillip McKee. Check out the issue at a newsstand near you!
Cool sidenote about this issue of Car Craft; There's a great vintage photo of Troy Trepanier's very first car on the back page! Street machine history right there!
